The moment when we stopped

Some days turn out to be unusual. Rather, turn out to be more special than others.

One Saturday night, we were just going on with our Saturday routine. Peak hours, customers coming in, smiles, laughs, sizzling brownie. Just then, a few people walked in, and made us all immobile for a few seconds.

A grandfather, along with his two grand kids, walked in, and parked themselves on a corner table. Very gently, they placed an order for a few desserts. Once the order was served, all 3 of them, full of smiles and love, shared the desserts till the last bite, playfully stealing each others’ spoon, and exchanging beautiful stories.

It was just such a beautiful moment, that we all stopped, and let it absorb.

Beautiful, isn’t it?

This sends out a really strong message: We all need to slow down once in a while, breathe, and spend time with our loved ones.

And that is exactly what we stand for, at Cafe Klatsch. 🙂

Brewing Love in the Kitchen

We have always wanted our customers to be a part of our family, and associate us with love, care, nostalgia and comfort. Ever since day 1, our target has not been to sell food, but to sell memories.

In our efforts to achieve this, our strongest catalysts have been our staff. Our lovely, energetic, ready-for-anything staff. They have grown to be a family themselves, to the extent that everyone has each other’s back. They know how to care for each other, and they also know how to party hard.

Why kids LOVE to visit Cafe Klatsch

If you have visited our Cafe, you must be well aware of the Cake Display we have in the main dining area. It’s a tiny little box sitting in one corner, displaying our desserts of the day. Nothing great, right?

Little did we know: It is a paradise for kids.

Almost every time we have kids come in, they become highly protective about this box, as if it is their mother bee. Once they step foot around the box, their cuteness knows no bounds. Their sparkling eyes, their drooling mouths, their innocence; all of it makes us fall in love with them over and over again.

Want to know what we are talking about? Here are a few snaps from our “secret agents”:

Mr.Universe at Cafe Klatsch

Our excitement knew no bounds when Mr. Universe, Mr. Sangram Chogule visited Cafe Klatsch. He was so humble to everyone around him, that we all fell in awe of him. Here are a few snaps of the amazing time we had with him hanging around:

Here’s A Recipe Of Colourful Oats That’s Bound To Make Your Day Better!

Good health and tasty food don’t really have much in common. This is one of the most important reasons why foodies have to think twice before starting a fitness regime or modifying their diets. There exists a perception that what is healthy for you will be bland, and what will be scrumptious for you is going to be fattening. And that my friends, is a very important problem.

Well, where there are conventions, there are bound to be exceptions. If you have the right ingredients, you can make sinfully tasty dishes while sparing a thought for your health as well. Take for instance this recipe from Om Nom Nom which transformed a plain bowl of oats into a beautiful looking snack that’s also insanely scrumptious!

RAINBOW OATS

Ingredients:

Quaker Oats – 1 Cup

Milk – 1 Cup

Sugar – To taste

Food Colours – A drop of red, green, blue, yellow, purple.

Preparation:

1. Boil milk and add oats.

2. Add the sugar as per taste.

3. Separate the oats into five small bowls.

4. Mix each colour in one bowl each and mix well.

5. Take a larger serving bowl. Layer each colour one after the other.

6. Garnish it with whipped cream and cherry.
